Currently, we are only accepting poetry manuscripts through our Poetry Series contest. For works of prose, you can either sumbit querries to submissions@solbooks.com, with the title of your ms. in the subject header, or enter our Prose Series contest.
Blog Articles
Sol Books is seeking articles, or series of articles, on craft and the pursuit of a writing life. We are looking for new ideas and original perspectives that provoke thought and encourage discussion within the larger writing community.
The subject of articles is only limited by their connection to creative writing—in any genre. However, we suggest a narrow focus on your subject and strong support for the ideas you wish to convey. Convince us of the validity of your ideas through descriptions, examples, and anecdotes that illuminate your writing experiences and the inspiration you’ve found in other writers.
- Submit full article to submissions@solbooks.com
- Length: under 500 words, though longer pieces are accepted if they are broken up into a series of articles
- Pay: $0.02 per word
